Our society is becoming more sedentary.  We drive cars, work at computers, sit at desks and then come home to our TV's.  This inactivity can lead to obesity, a lack of energy and dissastifaction along with a host of other ailments. 

This is why it is so important to find ways of keeping ourselves active.  How do we find the time?  How do we start?  Talking with a personal trainer, discussing your goals and learning more about how you can take control of your health and well-being is an excellent start.  A trainer can assess your current level of fitness and create a workout plan that suits your unique needs.  Another avenue to pursue is finding a fitness or yoga class nearby that you can attend.  In addition to building strength, you have the benefit of being with others and meeting new friends.

*   Use the stairs
*   Watch your calorie intake
*   Cut down the processed foods.
